Evergreen Terrace

Evergreen Terrace

Georgia

Evergreen Terrace, Pontoon Brewing
Description

This West Coast Double IPA is all that you want in a west coast IPA: punchy, hoppy, piney, citrusy and powerful! We took the Standy By recipe and boosted it to give the Vienna and caramel malt more of a presence that would otherwise be masked by the absurd amount of hops in this beer. With bittering, whirlpool and dry hop additions of Citra, Simcoe and Chinook, you get bold notes of pithy tangerine, noble pine and dank resin. Warning, this beer packs a punch!

From the start, agressiveness is the impression of this beer. With a hefty dose of Citra, Centennial, and some New Zealand hop varieties, the hop character highlights very prominent citrusy, peach, and grapefruit aromas and flavors throughout. The malt character is very light and lends little... Read More

Weltenburger Asam Bock

Weltenburger Asam Bock

Weltenburger Asam Bock, Weltenburger Kloster
Description

A king of Doppelbocks is what we have here. Asam Bock is refined by I’m sure many many years of brewing and is a must for aficionados of the style or serious beer people. This is outstanding. An extremely delicious doppelbock with huge dark malt presence and just enough earthiness to keep it from being sweet. It hits all the right notes for the style including a killer mouthfeel that is silky smooth and soft, while staying very clean. Friends and connoisseurs particularly will appreciate it for its strong, sweet, very aromatic and persistent taste
