Sinus Rhythm

Sinus Rhythm

Sinus Rhythm, Ghost Hawk Brewing Co
Description

It’s a classic style of English ale that still has currency in the American craft beer market. Our version of the style has a pale color, a nice balance of malt and hops and the signature pronounced bitterness in the finish. Lotus and N.Y. grown hops combine with a classic English yeast to create earthy notes of subtle fruit and tea.

A strong bread crust aroma with toasty elements of Vienna malt dominates the aroma. There is a light sulfur character that is volatile and dissipates quickly after the initial pour. Richness of melanoidins are evident but not overwhelming. A very light herbal hop character adds complexity and ... Read More

Light 'n Hoppy by Social Fox Brewing is being evaluated as an American Lager (2021 BJCP Guidelines Category 1B).

This beer has a smoky nose up front -- prominent smoked ham/bacon notes jump out of the glass with enough caramel malt in the aroma to balance it effectively. No oak or hops are present in the aroma. The color is deep chestnut and is brilliantly clear. There is a small, wispy, light tan head... Read More
