A smooth, easy-drinking, and pristinely clean beer with hints of light chocolate and roasted malts. This beer showcases very little hop presence in both aroma and flavor, just like an English Porter should. The hops are there though, in a perfect amount to convey the bitterness needed to balance the beer and not be cloying. Faint fermentation esters of apricot and pear give this beer complexity, and all flavors are well-integrated and well-blended. A very solid example of an English Porter.
