Juiced Lychee IPA by Moody Tongue Brewing Co. is an American IPA and is being evaluated as an American IPA (category 21A from the 2021 BJCP Beer Style Guidelines). American IPAs are hop-forward beers typically expressing American or new world hop characters that are most typically citrusy, piney or resiny in character.

Juiced Lychee IPA pours golden in color, is clear, and sports a huge, fluffy, white head. The aroma is of moderate apricot and grapefruit hops over light bready malt. The flavor features moderate grapefruit hops with lighter notes of resins over moderate bready malt. The beer finishes with a moderate bitterness with moderate citrusy hops and bready malt. 

Juiced Lychee IPA is an exceptional American IPA. The hop character is quite complex with various citrus flavors along with lighter notes of resins and stone fruit. Hop heads will rejoice.
