Looking For a Good Kratom Tea Recipe? Here Are Seven Of The Best

Though many people feel excited about drinking various types of kratom tea, they don't know how to make it. So, here are seven flavorful and easy-to-make recipes for the best kratom tea.

Cocoa Mint Kratom Tea

Cocoa in tea, and especially kratom tea, is still new to many people. However, this combination is a classic. Besides cocoa, mint is also a primary ingredient in the recipe.

This recipe will take around twenty minutes and was adapted from an original recipe by Top Tree Herbs.

What You Will Need

  • Kratom tea bag of any strain (1) (kratom has different strains variants of different vein shades, choose the one that matches your goal to use kratom)
  • Water (1 or 1.5 cups if you are using a thermos)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (2 teaspoons)
  • Spring of mint or peppermint extract (1 sprig or drop of extract)
  • Sweetener (if you prefer): Stevia ( 1/4 teaspoon) or coconut sugar (1 teaspoon)

Note

Instead of using a kratom tea bag, you can also use your dose of kratom powder or raw kratom leaves. However, that will make the entire process more complicated and inconvenient and may not be as effective as it can be with a kratom tea bag.

Steps to Prepare

For Stovetop

  • Add a kratom tea bag and water to a medium or small saucepan. Boil the contents and reduce the flame to a simmer. Then, cover and heat for around ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Now, remove the lid. Add one sprig of mint and continue heating the contents for five minutes, keeping the heat low throughout.
  • Lastly, take out the kratom tea bag and mint. Add some cocoa powder, peppermint extract (in case you are using it), and sweeteners (optional). Stir to mix, and it's ready!

Kratom Tea Chai Latte

This recipe will take around five minutes to prepare and 35 minutes to brew. It was adapted from an original recipe by Top Tree Herbs.

What You Will Need

  • Kratom tea bags (6 bags)
  • Water (5 cups)
  • Cinnamon sticks of around 3.5 inches each (2 sticks)
  • Whole black peppercorns (10)
  • Whole cloves (10)
  • Green crushed cardamom pods (13)
  • Thinly sliced fresh ginger chunks (2 inches)
  • Pure vanilla extract or vanilla beans (1/4 teaspoons or 1-2 beans)
  • Maple or coconut sugar (6 teaspoons or according to taste)
  • Full-oat or other non-dairy milk (2 cups)

Directions:

  • Take a medium-sized pot, pour water and boil it. Put in kratom tea bags. Boil them for around fifteen minutes. Ensure not to cover the pot, as an uncovered pot will make your kratom tea more concentrated.
  • The second step is optional but can make your tea more delicious. Add cardamom pods, peppercorns, cinnamon and cloves to a dry skillet or pot.
  • While you do this, your kratom tea is already steeping in the other vessel. Toast the spices on medium heat. Keep stirring and shaking for around two to three minutes until they get fragrant.
  • Turn the flame of the pot carrying kratom tea to simmer. Put in the toasted spices, ginger and vanilla. Continue simmering for around five minutes. Remove the heat, wrap and steep the content for ten more minutes. You can also add sweeteners now.
  • Strain the kratom tea using a finer mesh strainer. Take a small saucepan and pour some oat milk. Heat it on medium flame.
  • Froth the milk content with an immersion blender for thirty to sixty seconds or shake it vigorously. Lastly, pour the cups of kratom chai and add some frothed milk.
