Smartmouth Wins Virginia Beer Cup, Three Golds at Can Can Awards

Smartmouth Brewing Co.  recently took home the Virginia Beer Cup's Best in Show award with its Safety Dance Pilsner, along with three golds at this year's Can Can Awards. For more, see below:

The Smartmouth team was honored to win the Best in Show at the recent Virginia Beer Cup awards with Safety Dance Pilsner.  It took the Gold Medal for the Pilsner category and Best in Show.  More than 350 beers were entered into the competition in 24 categories from across the state.  The Beer Cup award is on display in the Smartmouth Tasting Room.

Safety Dance is available year-round and was just released in cans this spring.

Just announced, Alter Ego Saison, Cowcatcher Milk Stout and Murphy’s Law Amber Ale received GOLD MEDALS at this year’s Can Can Awards! Our dapper Sir Vesa Mexican Vienna Lager also brought home a silver (not too shabby). Over 400 beers were entered from across the globe, including canned entries from both big and small breweries.  Click for a complete list.
