ROK Stars ABK Bavarian Beer Wins European Beer Star Award

Presented in Nürnberg on the 9th of November, the latest European Beer Star Award follows the 6 Gold Medals awarded to ABK Beer by the DLG and the 3 Gold Medals won at the United States Beverage Testing Institute's 'World Beer Championships' held in Chicago.

The European Beer Star Awards is one of the most important and prestigious beer competitions worldwide involving a 124 person expert jury blind-tasting more than 2,000 beers from 44 countries worldwide.

ABK was awarded a Silver Medal for its Edel Spezial Bier.

ROK Stars acquired the majority interest in the historic 700 year old AktienBrauerei Kaufbeuren, Bavaria in May 2013 and has since re-designed and re-packaged a range of beers for international export under the brand 'ABK Beer – Since 1308'.
