ATLANTA (June 7, 2018) - Owned and operated by Zach Kell in Canton, Georgia, Queenie’s has been announced as the official food partner for Reformation Brewery’s new space, now under construction at 105 Elm Street, Woodstock, GA.

Tentatively scheduled to open this August, the new brewery space comes to Woodstock as a research and development facility and includes an on site kitchen, and 2 public bars serving 16 to 24 unique beers at any given time. The 6,000 square foot space will comfortably serve over 200 guests at a time, and will become the public taproom and event space for Reformation Brewery in Woodstock.

CEO and cofounder, Spencer Nix says the partnership is a proud moment. “I couldn't be more honored and excited to partner with Zach Kell and family to deliver truly unique experiences for the good of our community. I've never been more proud to be Cherokee and north Georgia born and raised.”

Beginning in September, 2018, Queenie's with serve lunch, dinner, and snack offerings designed to pair well with Reformation beers during their scheduled hours of operation. Priced between $8-$24, the menu will include simple, southern foods like smoked meats (pork, chicken, beef brisket, ribs), bbq tacos, and beer snacks (poutine, pork pies, other bites).

Zach Kell is no stranger to serving the community. Founder of Queenie’s Southern Restaurant & Bar, Goin Coastal Seafood, and The Downtown Kitchen, Kell says “It has been exciting to watch Reformation grow leaps and bounds all while keeping true to themselves and their customers. We are very excited to continue this relationship by growing from downtown Canton to Queenie’s BBQ in downtown Woodstock.”

Nix says the partnership grew from a longstanding friendship founded on mutual respect and encouragement. “I first met Zach Kell when he opened Downtown Kitchen in Canton and it was the best local dining experience I'd had in my life.” Nix continued, “Zach remained one of my closest confidants to bounce ideas and to taste new brews. He's been quick to stand with every wild idea. So this winter I baited my not so veiled hook and fished out a whole new idea.”

Nix went on to say, “For me building a business is all about relationships. Zach Kell went so far as to host a private Reformation Brewery tasting at Downtown Kitchen in 2012 to introduce our beers to his community before we ever shipped to the market. I knew then it was the start of something special between two local small businesses.”
