BC: Who came up with this beer’s recipe?
Myself and co-founding partner Clay Robinson came up with the beer recipe.
BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
It’s my daily pint. So, I love everything about it, it is a sessionable hoppy beer.
BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
It is from Egyptian Mythology. The ancient Egyptians believed that Osiris gave them the gift of barley, one of their most important crops. We would also like to thank the ancient Egyptian gods for not having a copyrighting on the name Osiris.
BC: Is this your “desert island beer?”
Of course, it’s my daily beer!
BC: Can you describe this beer in 10 words or less?
Classic, American Hopped, Sessionable, Pale, Citrus, Hmmm!
BC: Do you know a story – or have a personal story – that revolves around this beer?
We secretly brew this beer for ourselves and luckily other people like it too. For instance, we met food and beer enthusiast Anthony Bourdain while he was visiting Indianapolis for a book tour during our early years of canning. We approached Anthony about signing a can of Osiris (we have a large signed can collection) and he liked it so much that he didn’t want to give up the fresh can of beer.
BC: What's a good food pairing for this beer?
Favorite combination with Osiris is anything that humans can consume. (Alternate: pairing anything spicy)
