Narragansett Unveils Revamped Summer Seasonal

Rhode Island's most famed brewery has announced a revamped version of its summer seasonal, with a new look, name and tweaked recipe. The bronson formerly known as Summer Ale is now Summertime Citra Ale, with an extra dose of the fruity hop for an extra tropical, refreshing kick.

“Today's ‘Gansett fans and craft beer drinkers are more knowledgeable about what they drink than ever before,” said Mark Hellendrung, President of Narragansett. “Citra hops add a distinctive and delicate grapefruit characteristic that perfectly fits with the season. This year we increased the amount of citra hops that we use by a bit, and we wanted to bring extra attention to the key ingredient in what had been named our Summer Ale.  We just wanted to give some credit where credit is due, hence the name change."

Look for 'Gansett's new ale in six-packs, twelve-packs, and its new Clack Shack Summer Variety Pack. For more info, check out the full press release below.
