Lawson’s Finest Liquids Unveils Limited-Edition Path of Totality Black IPA to Commemorate April 8 Solar Eclipse

In anticipation of the rare celestial event on April 8, Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Waitsfield, Vermont is thrilled to introduce their latest creation, Path of Totality (7.5% ABV), a special Black IPA designed to honor the upcoming complete solar eclipse. Available exclusively within the path of totality for a limited period, enthusiasts can savor this unique brew at Lawson’s Finest’s iconic destination brewery and taproom in Waitsfield, Vermont, and in select New York outlets.

The highly-anticipated solar eclipse, where the moon aligns perfectly between the sun and the earth, will cast its shadow over Northern Vermont from approximately 2:14 p.m. to 4:37 p.m., marking the region's first total eclipse occurrence since 1932.

Crafted as an ode to nature's grandeur, Path of Totality is a beer that captures the essence of this cosmic spectacle. Boasting a recipe infused with Eclipse hops and a blend of darker malts, this IPA exhibits a rich, roasty character and a striking dark hue. The tantalizing interplay of zesty citrus and fresh pine notes from Eclipse hops, coupled with the robust malt profile, promises a sensory journey like no other.

Moreover, a portion of the proceeds from Path of Totality sales will contribute to ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, an organization dedicated to fostering scientific curiosity and environmental stewardship. This charitable initiative aligns with Lawson’s Finest Liquids’ commitment to social responsibility, having already donated over $2 million since 2018 to support local causes.
