Back East Brewery Holds Charity Event for Hurricane Relief

Connecticut's Back East Brewery is hosting a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Direct Relief, a charity directing funds to assist hurricane recover in Puerto Rico. 

BLOOMFIELD, CT, Oct. 6, 2017 – Back East Brewery is hosting a fundraiser on Friday, October 13 from 4-8 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to Direct Relief, a charity that is directing funds to assist people with hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico. For each pint of beer sold on Friday, 100 percent of sales will be donated to aid the organization’s hurricane relief efforts.

The event will have live music and will be catered from 5-8 p.m. by Bear’s Smokehouse Barbecue, offering authentic, wood-smoked barbecue. A portion of the proceeds from the Bear’s BBQ food truck will also be donated to hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico.

Back East Brewery brews and distributes year-round and seasonal craft beer in cans and on draft. Customers, 21 and over, will be able to purchase from a variety of craft beer to support hurricane recovery.
