My favorite aspect of this beer are the rich chocolate and caramel notes, which, when combined with its big body, makes it great for a nice winter day.
BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
The name Uroboros comes from the self-eating snake, a dark and ominous name for a dark and ominous beer.
BC: Is this your “desert island beer?”
This beer would be my desert island beer if that desert island were actually a winter wonderland.
BC: Can you describe this beer in 10 words or less?
Roasted and chocolate malts, dark candi sugar, oak spirals and Belgian yeast circle in harmonious union.
BC: Do you know a story – or have a personal story – that revolves around this beer?
Soon after making this beer for the first time I took some friends camping. While sitting around the campfire, I felt that I had truly found the purpose for this beer: good people + great beer = great time.
BC: What's a good food pairing for this beer?
It pairs great with red meat and aged cheeses, I also love to drink it with oysters on the half shell.
